DR. DAVID A. PELLEGRINI
Born and raised on the South Shore of Boston, Dr. Pellegrini graduated from Archbishop Williams High School before attending Princeton University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. While at Princeton, Dr. Pellegrini attained All-American Track and Field status as an NCAA National Champion in the hammer throw. He also played varsity football and received the Winston Roper Award for outstanding scholar-athlete.
Dr. Pellegrini then attended Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine where he earned his doctorate degree in 1983. Upon graduation, he immediately married his wife, Pam, and reported for duty in the US Navy, where he continued his dental education as a General Practice Resident at the Naval Hospital in Oakland, California. His next tour of duty took the Pellegrinis to Sicily.
In 1987, Dr. Pellegrini entered private practice in Duxbury. He and his wife have raised five children and they currently reside in Kingston. Dr. Pellegrini is an avid sailor and mountain biker. He has donated many hours running retreats for teens at Holy Family Church, helping the Junior Sailing Program at Plymouth Yacht Club, and traveling to Honduras, Central America with CapeCares to provide medical and dental relief.
DR. PETER D. PELLEGRINI
Dr. Peter Pellegrini grew up in Duxbury. He graduated from Boston College High School and went on to study at Salve Regina University where he earned a BA in business administration. While at Salve, he recognized his passion for dentistry. He completed his Premed requirements at the Harvard Extension School and attended University of New England, College of Dental Medicine where he graduated within the top of his class. Dr. Peter is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Massachusetts Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Pete has served multiple times on medical-dental mission trips with CapeCares. He has provided vital treatment to the under served people of Central America and looks forward to continuing this work.
A life-long sailing enthusiast, Dr. Pete has spent many summers coaching the race team at DBMS and Duxbury Yacht Club. He started racing sailboats at the age of five. As a college sailor, Dr. Pete was the team captain for Division One SRU where he competed in the college sailing national championships.
Dr. Pete has a strong appreciation for the outdoors. He relishes his time outside, whether it be in boats, mountain biking, skiing, rock climbing, or hiking.
Dr. Pete is excited to contribute to the dental profession through his devotion to exceptional work and his commitment to excellent oral health for the community. We are thrilled to have Dr. Pete aboard at Pellegrini Dental.
